Spring Tree Giveaway ! 

Save Our Shade (SOS) Trees, an Old Saybrook community organization and special interest fund of The Community Foundation of Middlesex County will give away free trees on April 18, 10am to 1pm at the First Church of Christ Congregational 366 Main Street,Old Saybrook.

Our focus is to build tree canopy in neighborhoods with little or no trees resulting in high heat indices, low shade, high rain/ stormwater runoff and wind and noise exposure.

Private and commercial property owners in Old Saybrook can register for a tree at http: www.sostrees.net or via email sostrees06475@gmail.com.  Registrations due by April 3.

Sustainable CT approved SOS Trees for a Crowdfund Match campaign to raise the funds for the April 18 free tree giveaway. To qualify for the match we need 35 donors of any amount towards our goal of $3600. Please visit HERE for more info!
