Open fields + traces of an old farmstead give this small park its character. Brainard Homestead preserves 25 acres near the Connecticut River, offering space to wander, watch birds, and notice the landscape’s quieter details.

The homestead itself is gone, but remnants of its foundation remain—a glimpse into the land’s earlier life.
