Open meadows, woodland paths + overlooks above the Salmon River make Machimoodus a lovely place to spend a few hours outside. This 300-acre park has roughly 4.5 miles of trails + old farm roads, with ponds and wildflower meadows that attract birds and pollinators throughout the seasons.

Wander through the fields, explore the woods, or climb toward Mount Tom’s overlooks for views across the river landscape.
