Open fields + Connecticut River views make Haddam Meadows an inviting place to spend an unhurried afternoon. Bring lunch for a riverside picnic, wander along the meadow’s edge, or watch birds and boats pass through the landscape.

With picnic tables overlooking the water, shoreline fishing + a boat launch, it’s a lovely spot to settle in on land or head out onto the river.

• Leashed dogs welcome.
• Picnic tables + accessible parking are available.
• The boat launch accommodates canoes, kayaks + motorboats. Bear right after entering the park.
• Keep children close along the river and around the boat launch.
